TKW is blij te kunnen melden dat Lukáš Holík vanuit Tsjechië de selectie van KV Wageningen zal versterken. Lukáš is 19 jaar oud en al jaren onderdeel van de Tsjechische (jeugd)selecties. Momenteel woont Lukáš dan ook nog in Tsjechië maar zal voor zijn studie en korfbal naar Nederland verhuizen. Hij zal de studie International Business gaan volgen aan de HAN in Arnhem.

Lukáš korfbalt al 13 jaar bij Korfbal Klub Brno in de gelijknamige stad Brno. Met deze club won hij 3 keer de nationale titel met U16, 3 keer met U19 en 1 keer met de senioren. Hij speelde vorig jaar met het nationale team van Tsjechië de World Games in China en was in december 2025 nog actief op de Challenge in Rotterdam.

Hoofdcoach Daniël van Munster had het jonge talent al lang in het vizier en is de laatste tijd in nauw contact met hem geweest. Daniël over Lukáš: “Lukáš is een atletische korfballer die in alle rollen kan spelen. Hij kan een goal maken, maar ook goed rebounden. Hij wil graag beter worden en hij laat dat met deze overstap ook duidelijk zien”.

Lukáš is momenteel druk aan het zoeken naar woonruimte in de omgeving van Wageningen. Mocht iemand nog iets weten, tijdelijke woonruimte hebben of een gouden tip, graag doorgeven aan Naomi (tkw.voorzitter@kvwageningen.nl).

International player coming to KV Wageningen

TKW is pleased to announce that Lukáš Holík from the Czech Republic will be strengthening KV Wageningen. Lukáš is 19 years old and has been part of the Czech (youth) national teams for many years. He currently still lives in the Czech Republic, but will be moving to the Netherlands for his studies and korfball. He will be studying International Business at HAN University of Applied Sciences in Arnhem.

Lukáš has been playing korfball for 13 years at Korfbal Klub Brno in the city of Brno. With this club, he won the national title three times with the U16 team, three times with the U19 team, and once with the senior squad. Last year, he competed at the World Games in China with the Czech national team, and in December 2025 he also took part in the Challenge in Rotterdam.

Head coach Daniël van Munster had been following the young talent for quite some time and has recently been in close contact with him. Daniël about Lukáš: “Lukáš is an athletic korfball player who can play in all roles. He can score, but he is also strong in the rebound. He is eager to improve, and this move clearly shows that.”
